A Special Night with West Valley Youth Symphony
Join the Neighborhood Christian Clinic for an evening of beautiful music at Desert Springs Community Church on Friday, April 17th at 7 p.m.
Experience the Joy of Music with the West Valley Youth Symphony. The West Valley Youth Symphony (previously known as the West Valley Youth Orchestra) will be performing at Desert Springs on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Cadet Strings (about 25 musicians) directed by Trista Kruckenberg will open the concert, followed by the Youth Symphony (about 50 musicians) under the direction of Claire Gordon, a long time member of Desert Springs!

- Pavane by Maurice Ravel Arranged by Michael Story
- St. Denio Variations Arranged by John Lloyd
- Rhythms of Africa by Soon Hee Newbold
The Youth Symphony will play:
- Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3
- Zelter Viola Concerto, 1st movement, featuring our Principal Violist, Randy LeGendre as soloist
- The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
