Neighborhood Christian Clinic Launches Behavioral Health Services on Monday, March 30
New program expands whole-person care for uninsured and underserved patients in Phoenix
Phoenix, Ariz. — Neighborhood Christian Clinic will officially begin offering behavioral health services on Monday, March 30, 2026, expanding its mission of providing compassionate whole-person care to uninsured and underserved patients in Phoenix.
The new behavioral health program will integrate mental and behavioral health support with the Clinic’s existing medical and dental services. This expansion reflects the Clinic’s commitment to caring for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
“For many of our patients, health challenges do not exist in isolation,” said Angela Shope, Executive Director of Neighborhood Christian Clinic. “Behavioral health is deeply connected to physical health, emotional well-being, and a person’s ability to move forward with hope. We are grateful to begin offering this care as part of our mission to serve uninsured and underserved neighbors with compassion, dignity, and the love of Christ.”
Neighborhood Christian Clinic has served Phoenix-area patients for decades by providing affordable, compassionate care to those who might otherwise go without treatment. The addition of behavioral health services marks an important new chapter in the Clinic’s whole-person model of care and responds to the growing need for accessible mental health support in the community.
The Clinic serves uninsured and underserved individuals and families with a focus on accessible care, compassionate treatment, and respect for every patient. In 2025, the Clinic provided more than 10,400 patient visits and served over 2,400 unique patients.
The launch of behavioral health services is one more way Neighborhood Christian Clinic is working to restore health and restore lives in the community.
