That is the heart behind a Patio Party.

A Patio Party is a simple get-together in your home or on your patio where a few friends can learn more about Neighborhood Christian Clinic and the work being done for uninsured and underserved neighbors in our community. It is not formal, and it does not need to be elaborate. It is simply hospitality offered with purpose.

You open your home. We help with the rest.

Maybe it is coffee in the morning. Maybe it is dessert in the evening. Maybe it is iced tea, a few chairs on the patio, and an honest conversation about the kind of care every person deserves.

Some people will hear about the Clinic for the first time at a gathering like this. They will learn that patients come here for medical care, dental care, and behavioral health services. They will hear that people are treated with dignity here. They will hear that the love of Christ is not an afterthought, but part of the life of the Clinic.

That kind of introduction is powerful.

People may skim past a post online. They may set aside a letter to read later. But when they sit with someone they know and trust, and hear a story face to face, something opens. They begin to understand the mission in a more personal way.

A Patio Party creates space for that.

It gives friends a chance to ask questions. It gives supporters a chance to share why they care. It gives new people a chance to see where they might fit, whether through prayer, giving, volunteering, or simply telling someone else about the Clinic.

You do not need a big house. You do not need a perfect patio. You do not need to be a fundraiser.

Scripture reminds us, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
